Captain Connie - The Meaning of Meaningful Work
Friends,
This is a link to the story of "Captain Connie," someone I have known for 25 years, a wonderful woman who represents best the gift of "meaningful work," or better said, how to make work meaningful. Read the story here:

I began working for The Adolphus in 1980 -- even before Captain Connie came on the scene and I remember her when. The meaning of relationships in the big picture came over a period of years and perhaps relationships developed with some of my earliest clients are still the most vivid.
Her story can and should motivate us all to make every workplace a better place.
Best,
Jim
P.S. The French Room at The Adolphus in Dallas, Texas has and will forever be my favorite restaurant in the world. Don't miss it!
